With over 20 years of experience in manual and sports therapy practice, Josef M. Andersen has established himself as a prominent figure in the field of physiotherapy. His extensive teaching career spans more than 20 countries, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, the UAE, Jordan, Palestine, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Japan, the USA, Bahrain, and the Faroe Islands.
Recently relocating from Denmark to the UAE, Josef is now dedicated to teaching the Mulligan Concept in this region. His students include some of the most respected therapists globally, many of whom serve as personal physiotherapists to world leaders and elite athletes.
Josef’s teaching style is well-regarded among therapists interested in manual therapy and sports manual therapy. His unique focus on clinical reasoning and efficacy draws students from various backgrounds, ranging from newly graduated practitioners to seasoned professionals. He developed the only accredited sports course within the Mulligan Concept, known as Mulligan Sports (MWM in Sports), which has gained immense popularity among manual therapists working with athletes. Since its inception in 2011, this course has been taught in numerous countries across Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, and the UAE.
