Advanced (C) Course Overview

Duration: 2 days

The Advanced (C) course builds upon the techniques learned in the Upper Quadrant (A) and (B) courses, but it also introduces additional, complementary manual therapy techniques not covered by Mulligan’s MWM. This course expands your treatment toolkit with methods such as self-treatment options, taping techniques, stretch techniques, nerve-related techniques, and the Pain Release Phenomenon (PRP), which differs in principle from MWM but is particularly effective for chronic pain conditions.

Course Details:
• Additional Techniques Beyond MWM: Learn advanced strategies such as self-treatment options, taping, stretching, and nerve techniques to address a wider range of musculoskeletal issues. The PRP technique is introduced to target chronic pain more effectively.
• Prerequisite: The course is designed for practitioners who have already completed the Upper Quadrant (A) and (B) courses. Prior practice with the MWM techniques covered in these courses is essential to maximize the benefit of the Advanced (C) course.
• Certification Pathway: Upon completing the A, B, and C courses, participants may choose to be examined for the Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) title, which provides international recognition as a Mulligan technique expert.
• Sports Manual Therapy: Participants who complete the A or B course can opt for a specialized sports manual therapy course with Josef. While participation in either A or B is sufficient, completing both courses is recommended for a more comprehensive understanding and practical benefit.

Recommendations:
• Timing: It is advised to complete the A and B courses and practice the techniques for a few months before enrolling in the C course. This will ensure that you are well-versed in the foundational techniques, allowing you to fully benefit from the advanced content.
• Broader Scope: The C course will provide you with a broader perspective and additional treatment options, particularly for conditions that are not addressed in the A and B courses.

By the end of the course, you will be equipped with a wider range of effective, advanced techniques, giving you greater flexibility and confidence in treating chronic pain and complex conditions.
