Upper Quadrant (A) Course Overview

Duration: 2 days

This intensive two-day course focuses on Mulligan Mobilisations With Movements (MWM) techniques for the cervical spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the Mulligan Concept (MC) through a combination of lectures, practical applications, and case studies.

Course Outline:
• Introduction to the Mulligan Concept (MC): Learn the history, current evidence, and principles behind MWM, including pain science and clinical reasoning.
• Evidence-based Techniques: Explore test and treatment techniques for the cervical spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. The course also covers common conditions like headaches, dizziness, tennis and golf elbow, and wrist dysfunction.
• Practical Application: You’ll have hands-on practice with MWM techniques, including self-treatment options and strategies for normalising wrist motion (supination, flexion, and extension).
• Case Studies: Video reports from real patients illustrate MWM applications, highlighting indications, contraindications, and treatment planning.

By the end of the course, you will be equipped with practical, evidence-based manual therapy techniques that can be directly applied to your clinical practice for addressing upper quadrant issues.
